Description
Pear Tree Holiday Cottages are near the village green and look across a paddock towards Mary Arden's House, the home of Shakespeare's mother's family. Sharing a beautiful three-quarters of an acre garden, the accommodation provides an oasis of calm away from bustling Stratford.
The Apple Loft and Acanthus Cottage are completely non-smoking and unsuitable for pets. We welcome children over 3 years old.
THE APPLE LOFT
This accommodation consists of a large sitting room with TV, a separate fully fitted dining kitchen, and a double bedroom with ensuite shower and WC. This bedroom can be made up with king-size or twin beds. An additional single bed is available in the same bedroom, if required. There is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, electric cooker etc., and full central heated throughout.
The apartment is at first floor level having a bright and airy aspect overlooking the gardens and adjoining paddock. Guests have unrestricted use of the 3/4 acre garden with garden furniture in many secluded corners. There is plenty of off-road parking and a large garden.
THE ACANTHUS COTTAGE
The accommodation, for up to four people, has a spacious Living/Dining area with comfortable settee, armchairs and a TV. The fully-fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave.
The cottage has two bedrooms: one double & one twin, each with its own ensuite bathroom- with bath, shower & WC - and is at ground floor level.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The cottages are furnished to a high standard and have individual central heating temperature controls.
Both have access to full laundry facilities. The shared extensive grounds have ample garden furniture in secluded corners for relaxing or eating.
Costs are all inclusive of linen, towels, gas and electricity

LOCAL AMENITIES
The village shop can provide all one needs for a snack, a full meal with wine, or a picnic in the garden.
The two village Pub/Restaurants, within easy walking distance, supply good food to suit most tastes and pockets.
LOCALITY
The Warwickshire countryside and the nearby Cotswold hills contain a wealth of fine Gardens, Stately Homes, ancient Manor Houses and Castles to delight the visitor, as well as the internationally renowned Stratford attractions of Shakespeare properties and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
Having lived here all our lives we can offer the best advice on days out from Pear Tree Cottage, aided by our own map and also help you to find our favourite eating places and country Pubs.
Some ideas for excursions within easy reach are the historic County Town of Warwick, with its superb Castle, Church and museums; also Kenilworth Castle, Blenheim Palace, the Cotswold villages and any of a dozen National Trust Properties, including the spectacular gardens at Hidcote, Packwood and Upton House - all within half an hour or less. Antique shops and markets to suit most pockets can be found nearby.
