Hill Farm is a farmhouse bed and breakfast set in the middle of our 450 acre working farm. We offer three traditional Bed and Breakfast bedrooms, as well as an original 1800’s Shepherds hut, and stabling as well during the summer months.

Hill Farm is friendly and peaceful, welcoming guests on holiday or business, families seeking a relaxing break, walkers, cyclists, riders... anyone who enjoys the countryside.

On arrival, enjoy a pot of tea and a slice of homemade cake. Then just relax, sit in the garden, look at the beautiful views, go for a walk around the farm or along the oxford Canal towpath, hear the birds, and see the changing seasons.

It has also got a small single room so it is ideal for a family.

A Traditional English breakfast is served in the dining room which overlooks the garden. We offer a choice of cereals, fruit juice, seasonal fresh fruit, followed by a full English breakfast with our own free range eggs, sausages and bacon from the local butcher, followed by toast and homemade marmalade.

All bedrooms have colour TV, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities and full central heating.
Ironing facilities are available on request.

Guests can also stay in our very special 1800’s Shepherd’s Hut from from 1 May - 30 September.
Its own former life was spent in Dorset where it was used for more than 100 years by shepherds tending their sheep. Now fully restored, the hut offers a truly wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of 21st century life.
It has a standard double bed, complete with feather duvet and pillows, an antique settle, complete with lighting, heating and even an electric blanket. Situated in an orchard below the main garden, it has fabulous westerly views and chickens, horses, birds, sheep and cattle as neighbours.
A private shower/toilet is available just inside the farmhouse.
Guests also have the choice of a full English breakfast in the farmhouse or your own uncooked breakfast delivered to you in a basket; a barbecue is also available to use upon request.

We offer a unique site for Wedding Receptions on our farm.
We have easy access onto the road, ample parking and appropriate space for a large or small marquee; there are also excellent views to the south west, with the backdrop of the Cotswold clay ridge and Thursbys wood behind.
We rent the site out for a fixed fee, plus the use of the Bed and Breakfast bedrooms.

Location
Hill Farm is a traditional mixed family farm, based around the medieval village of Priors Hardwick, on the Warwickshire border. It is 450 acres (180 hectares) with varying soil types, arable land, medieval ridge and furrow pasture and banks, with the Oxford Canal cutting it in half. The farm has been in the Darbishire family since 1938.

To the South lies Banbury (9 miles), Oxford, Woodstock with Blenheim Palace, and Broughton Castle.

To the West lies the honey-coloured towns and villages of the Cotswolds, such as Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold, the National Herb Centre, Stratford-Upon-Avon and the Gaydon Heritage Museum.

To the North lies the National Agricultural Centre at Stoneleigh, Rugby, Birmingham, Warwick, Daventry, Coventry, the NEC, Birmingham International Airport and Garden Organic at Ryton.

To the East lies Althorp and the Silverstone Circuit.

For those with sporting connections, there is eventing at Aston le Walls, Upton and Purston horse trials, racecourses at Stratford and Warwick, point to point meetings at Mollington, polo matches at the Dallas Burstson Polo Ground, golf at Hellidon Lakes, and Rugby Union at Northampton Saints.

We are also close to Cropredy for the Fairport Convention, within driving distance of Warwick and Kenilworth with their historic castles, Leamington Spa, the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon and all its Shakespearean connections and numerous pretty Warwickshire villages.
