Stratford upon Avon is one of England's most famous market towns mainly for its history and association with the great playwrite William Shakespeare. His childhood home (Anne Hathaway's Cottage) is literally 300 yards away from The Stables in this leafy part of Stratford, called Shottery. Equally, within walking distance are almost all of Stratford's main attractions, with The National Theatre a comfortable walk.

As you would expect there are a host of attractions or 'things to do' in the area including The National Herb Centre at Warmington, National Trust 'Packwood House' plus Ragley Hall, Warwick Castle and Stoneleigh Abbey to name a few within 30 mins drive. There is literally oodles to choose from - for adults and children alike!

Of course Stratford sits at the top of the Cotswolds, with many of the northern Cotswolds finest locations nearby - these include Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton in Marsh and Stow on the Wold all within a reasonable drive.
